CURIOSITY!!!!!!!!

In the dry desert of Australia lives a strange toad.

Its name is “Cyclorana pinatycephala”.

This toad lives away from ponds.

When is summer  in the desert, the toad gets under the sand for a long time because the temperature is very high in this season.

The toad can stay under the sand to one metre deep. So the water of skin toad can´t evaporate.

The toad can stay under the sand for ten months.

When in the dry desert start to rain very hard, the toad goes outside and it catches reserves of water through its skin and it feed.

In the past when the natives were thirsty they caught the toads and they pressured them and they drank the water of its skin.

The natives always were careful with the toads and they never hurt them.
